Recording of Classes at Sexologiskolen / IAS

Classes are occasionally recorded for the purpose of ensuring quality, documentation, safety, and internal teacher training.
Recordings may be used for the development of teaching methods, internal supervision of the teacher and supervisor teams, or as part of teacher / supervisor training – e.g. in didactics.
Recordings may also be accessed by the management of Sexologiskolen / IAS and the school’s Advisory Group, when relevant for quality assurance and development.

Student FB Groups

Recordings shared internally in student Facebook groups are available only to the students and teachers of the respective group.
Such recordings must not be shared with third parties, and all recordings must be treated confidentially.

Retention Period

Video and audio recordings shared internally in the school’s FB student groups may be accessible to students for up to 14 days after being published in the group.
Recordings are deleted by Sexologiskolen / IAS no later than one year after the examination of the respective class, unless they are part of an ongoing internal education or evaluation process.
In such cases, the recordings are deleted immediately after the purpose has been fulfilled.

Personal Data

General

Personal data includes all types of information that can, in one way or another, be attributed to you.
When you use our website, we collect and process a range of such information — for example, when you subscribe to our newsletter, participate in a competition or survey, register as a new user/subscriber, or otherwise make use of services or purchases through our website.

We typically collect and process the following types of information:
A unique ID and technical data about your computer, tablet, or mobile phone, your IP address, geographic location, and which pages you click on.
To the extent that you provide explicit consent and enter the information yourself, we also process: name, phone number, email, address, and payment information — typically in connection with creating a login or making a purchase on the site.

Security

We process your personal data securely and confidentially in accordance with applicable legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Danish Data Protection Act.
Your data will only be used for the purpose for which it was collected and will be deleted when that purpose has been fulfilled or is no longer relevant.

Purpose

The collected information is used to identify you as a user and to show you advertisements that are most relevant to you, to register your purchases and payments, and to deliver the services you have requested — such as receiving newsletters.
We also use the information to optimize and improve our services and content.

Storage Period

We store data for the period permitted by law and delete it when it is no longer necessary or relevant.
The period depends on the nature of the data and the basis for storage.
It is therefore not possible to specify a general time frame for when data is deleted.

Disclosure of Information

Data about your use of the website, which advertisements you receive and possibly click on, geographic location, gender, and age segment, etc., may be disclosed to third parties to the extent that such data is known and if we make use of third-party services.

The information is used for targeted advertising.

We also use several third parties for data storage and processing.
These parties process information solely on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes.

Disclosure of personal data such as name and email, etc., will only occur if you give explicit consent.
We only use data processors located within the EU or in countries that can ensure adequate protection of your data.

Access and Complaints

You have the right to be informed about which personal data we process about you in a standard format (data portability).
You may at any time object to the use of your information or withdraw your consent for data processing.

If the information we hold about you is incorrect, you have the right to have it corrected or deleted.
